A fragment of an original wallpainting above the door was uncovered on redecoration. This showed part of two repeats. There were also some other remaining fragments which allowed us to reconstruct the complete design. The reconstruction was painted using pigments which could have been used in the original. The bottom picture shows part of the original painting from 1620, left hand blue repeat and top border above it and the recreated portion on the right hand side of this. | ||
