The front pipes of the organ were gilded and the design at the mouth was recreated from one found on the pipes when they were being prepared. | ||

The large side pipes (shown on the right) were painted with a matt paint and then a small design was gilded round the mouth. The gilded design was based on one found on one of the pipes inside the organ. | ||
