Damaged areas on the Pompeian red walls of the Library Dining Room at the Sir John Soane's Museum were to be repaired. The Pompeian red had been applied over a white ground and the colour was recreated through applying the paint in a number of layers. Areas of delaminating paint on the ceiling were consolidated in order to retain as much of the original paint as possible. | ||
